We created an open decks night so anyone entering the world of djing can have a professional space to practice and raise awareness of their talents.

Starting at 6pm, there are 12 slots across the night. each person with a slot gets 30 mins to set up and show out in their allocated time, and you will be held to that time - no overplaying or you fuck it up for everyone else.

You'll need to be there in person to get a sign-up slot from 5pm. "no signing up friends that are on their way".

The set-up:

• 2 x technics 1200 turntables
• 1 x pioneer djm-s3 (this mixer has built-in serato)
• 2 x serato control vinyl

You can bring records, a controller or additional hardware you'd like to use.

You must be able to patch into the house mixer to play. no outside mixers will be permitted due to time restrictions.

You may not use our record collection for your set!

SIDES is a night at Paramita Sound, where we encourage our community to share a single side of a record. Bring a record that helps is get to know you better.

When we share music, we invite others to immerse themselves in our emotions and viewpoints, crafting profound connections precisely when we need them the most.

How it works:

• Go through your collection of vinyl and select a side of a record that embodies the theme
• Pick one side of your selected record to play; that side can be no longer than 25 min
• You must bring a physical record to play; no aux cord will be available
• Bring a few records incase theres a chance to play more than one :)
